RECLAIMED METALS

Reclaimed electronic components

Our partner repair shop, Sour Tech, has been in business for 10 years. Over this time, they've kept the non-functioning components of iPhones, Androids, gaming consoles, and computers safely on-hand until they have enough stock to take to a local recycler.

Now, Novamors has partnered with them to give new life to many of these smaller, nonfunctional components by turning them into wearable works of art, and keeping every piece of electronic waste we can out of landfills.

CELEBRATINGPROTO-TECH

We're tired of the new, the cutting-edge, the perpetual digitization of everything. At Novamors we celebrate the originals, the prototypes, and the clunky beautiful beginnings.

We turn the oldest iPhone cameras you've ever seen into unique, miniature time capsule wearables. Working with the defunct tech of the past humbly reminds us that every current big breakthrough in design will someday be heralded as vintage and nostalgic.

SOLELY IN-HOUSE

In-house studio craftsmanship setup

The process for creating a Novamors piece begins and ends in Texas. First, electronic components are sourced from Sour Tech, a local, family-owned repair shop. Each component is torn down into its individual parts, down to the smallest modules possible.

Our artisan then renders sketches of possible layouts and combinations. She works with soldering equipment, wire, and stainless steel findings to bring these miniature mechanical masterpieces to life.
